Siviwe Minyi

Siviwe Minyi holds a BA ( HDE) Degree from the University of Cape Town and is currently studing towards a Masters Degree Media Studies.

Siviwe spent a number of years working with NGOs in the field of democracy education, justice,reconciliation and HIV & AIDS, including a year working with a South Africa based donor organisation called Interfund. He is a founder member of Bush Radio and ia a pioneer in the emergence of new community media initiatives both as a trainer and producer.

Siviwe also worked as a trainer for the Gender & Training Network (GETNET) where he worked with men in Men and Masculinities Programme.

His extensive experience includes freelance journalism, developing and implementing marketing strategies for a number of organizations and goverment departments. As a trainer, Siviwe has a passion for people capacity development.
