Our
discussion this morning refers.
The
article published by City Press
on the 15th November 2009 titled
“Letsebe’s Bogus

Further, the article violates

ERROR
IN THE PRESS STATEMENT
WELCOMING THE NEW PROJECTS DIRECTOR
– Mr HARRY LETSEBE
On the 08 October 2009, the Agency
introduced and welcomed Mr. Harry
Letsebe who has been promoted
to fill the shoes of Ms Jayshree
Pather as the new Projects Director.
The
statement erroneously reflected
Mr. Letsebe as having a law
degree and postgraduate certificates.
Mr. Letsebe, according to his
CV has several certificates
ranging from project management,
social policy, ICT for development,
strategic management and financial
planning. These were received
from Regenesys Business School,
Wits Graduate School of Public
and Development Management and
UCT. The error was due to editing
his submission based on how
he wrote his abridged version
of his CV in preparation for
the press statement after he
was employed.

Director
Honoured guests
Ladies and Gentlemen
Thank
you very much for the invitation
to participate in this dialogue.
It is very encouraging that
we are making an effort as a
society to engage on this critical
issue of gender and transformation.
Thank you very much to all the
organizations that worked together
to make this dialogue possible
in particular the MDDA, CGE,
SABC, SAHRC and ICASA. We certainly
need not forget our difficult
history including that infamous
Black Wednesday when apartheid
government banned three publications
on the 19th of October 1977.
