Through the support of the Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA), amongst other key players, community media – across print, radio, and television – is a powerful platform that connects ideas, stories and brands directly with local audiences.
It reaches millions of South Africans in their own languages, telling stories that reflect their daily lives, cultures, and aspirations.
These platforms build trust and engagement by forming a direct line with stakeholders, brands and communities creating a natural environment for authentic and impactful storytelling.
From the immediacy of radio, to the reach of television and credibility of print, community media offers diverse entry points for meaningful stories that shape culture and people’s lives.
